Dreamland is in the seaside town of Margate. Having visited it for the first time in 2004 I am left with the feeling that this is a place that's time has sadly passed. You can tell this used to be quite a good park with a log flume, ferris wheel, go carts and much more. Now all that is left is a scenic railway and a metal wild mouse coaster with a few flat rides and these may well close at the end of the 2004 season. This would be a shame for a wooden coaster to be lost despite having Grade II listed status. With investment in this park it could be so much more-it has the space for a log flume, tower drop, at least one corkscrew/looping coaster and some good flat rides (to replace the almost unsafe ones currently there). I suppose there just is not the tourism for Margate anymore, but then without investment people will look elsewhere.
