Adventure Island is on the seafront at Southend. There are four coasters here. Only one is aimed at the teenage/adult market, the other three are more for children and their families.
Rage is the newest of the coasters. It has a verticle lift hill and 97o first drop. It the goes into a vertually inverted banked turn the around another steep banked turn followed by a barrell roll the into a tight upward helix into the brakes. It pack a lot of ride into a very small amount of track. For me the first drop is the best element and I think this is a ride that will not age well, becoming rough over the years. Hopefully I will be proved wrong. It is good to see a seaside town investing in new rides, not just moving them in from other parks.
